Jennifer
Eubank began her artistic career while studying Fine Arts at Virginia
Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA where in 1989 she earned
a BFA in Art History with a concentration in both Russian and Fine Arts.
As part of her education, she took dozens of visual art classes, such
as painting, drawing, pottery and metalworking. But her passion was always
working with beads and wire and often times incorporated these media into
her work.Upon graduation and for the next 12 years, Jennifer worked on a State Department contract, drawing upon her Russian language and leadership skills. But she never strayed from her passion for the arts and continued to create jewelry using a variety of materials, including silver, beads, resin, wire and more. Even while working full-time (and raising a child!) she created and sold her jewelry to friends, family and colleagues and also participated in a variety of shows in Woodbridge and Arlington, both in Virginia. As the State Department contract neared its end, Jennifer decided to follow her longtime dream of running her own jewelry business full-time. She founded J.dell Designs in late 2001 and now designs her jewelry in a studio out of her home in Arlington. She works with a variety of materials to create unique necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and other interesting baubles. For more information about where you can find Jennifer’s work, go to Locations page. As always, you can find her down at Washington D.C.’s Eastern Market on most Sundays. |
